Devotional
Humility is often misunderstood in our achievement-oriented culture. We might think it means downplaying our abilities or feeling bad about ourselves. But true humility isn’t about thinking less of ourselves – it’s about thinking less about ourselves altogether. When we’re consumed with our own image, achievements, or failures, we miss opportunities to serve others and glorify God. Real humility frees us from the exhausting task of self-promotion and self-protection, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: loving God and serving others. This shift in focus opens the door to experiencing God’s grace in powerful ways.

Bible Verse

“God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.” – 1 Peter 5:5
