Devotional
There’s a beautiful paradox in Christian living: to truly live, we must first die to ourselves. This doesn’t mean we lose our personality or become less ‘us’ – rather, we become more fully who we were created to be. When we surrender our lives to Christ, He doesn’t diminish us; He transforms us into the best version of ourselves. This transformation requires daily choices to put aside our self-centered tendencies and allow Christ to live through us. It’s about exchanging our limited perspective for His eternal one, our temporary satisfactions for His lasting joy.

Bible Verse

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20

Reflection Question

What aspects of your old self do you find most difficult to surrender to Christ, and what might be holding you back from fully embracing this transformation?

Quote The greatest version of you that could ever exist is the Jesus version.

Prayer

Jesus, I want to experience the fullness of life that comes through dying to self. Help me surrender those areas I still hold onto, trusting that Your way is better. Amen.
