Devotional
The way we handle authority within our families has far-reaching implications for society. When we establish and maintain proper respect for parental authority, we contribute to a more stable and well-ordered community. This doesn’t require perfection – we all make mistakes. But it does require commitment to the principle of honor. As we build this legacy of honor in our families, we’re actually strengthening the foundation of our entire society. Each act of respect, each choice to honor despite difficulties, adds another brick to this foundation.
Bible Verse
“That it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” – Ephesians 6:3
