Devotional
There are two types of theft: taking what isn’t yours and keeping what you should give. The latter is particularly common among believers. We often hold back what we should be giving, whether it’s our time, resources, or love. This form of theft is subtle but just as damaging. Remember, everything we possess ultimately belongs to God, and we are accountable to be generous stewards with all of it. ‘Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.’ – Ephesians 4:28 “

Reflection Question
Are there areas in your life where you are keeping what you should be giving? How can you change this?
Quote
“There are two kinds of thieves in the world. The one who takes what is not theirs… But there is also stealing by keeping what you are not supposed to keep.”
Prayer
Father, reveal to me the areas where I am holding back what I should be giving. Help me to be generous and to share what I have with those in need. Amen.
