Devotional
Generosity is difficult for many Christians because they don’t fully understand the cross. Christ, who had everything, became poor so we might become rich for Him. True generosity flows from recognizing this sacrifice, not from expecting something in return. When we understand the depth of Christ’s sacrifice, our hearts are transformed, and we can give generously and joyfully. ‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.’ – 2 Corinthians 8:9 “

Scripture:
‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.’ – 2 Corinthians 8:9
