Devotional
Christmas isn’t just another holiday on our calendar—it marks the most significant moment in all of human history. When Jesus was born in that humble stable in Bethlehem, everything changed. This single event set the stage for the cross, the resurrection, and every blessing that has flowed to humanity since. Without the incarnation, there would be no salvation, no hope, no eternal life. Yet how easily we can take this miracle for granted. We get caught up in the shopping, the decorating, the family gatherings, and miss the earth-shattering reality that God became flesh and dwelt among us. The Creator of the universe chose to enter His creation as a helpless baby. The all-powerful God made Himself vulnerable. The eternal Word became human so that we could become children of God. This Christmas season, let’s pause and marvel at what really happened. God didn’t send an angel or a prophet—He came Himself. He didn’t stay distant in heaven—He drew near to us. He didn’t remain untouchable—He became huggable, holdable, touchable. The incarnation changes everything because it means God understands our struggles, our pain, our humanity. He’s been where we are.

Bible Verse
‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.’ – John 1:1, 14
