Devotional
With only 86,400 moments each day, you simply cannot afford to waste them on things that don’t matter. This isn’t about being selfish or uncaring – it’s about being a wise steward of the life God has given you. Every moment spent in unnecessary drama, prolonged anger, or bitter resentment is a moment stolen from your purpose. The world is constantly trying to hijack your attention and steal your time. Social media notifications, endless news cycles, gossip, and other people’s drama all compete for your precious moments. But here’s the truth: when someone or something steals your time, they’re literally stealing your life. You have the right and responsibility to protect what God has entrusted to you. This doesn’t mean you become cold or uncaring. It means you become intentional. You choose to invest your emotional energy in relationships and situations where you can make a positive difference. You refuse to let anger consume hours of your day. You don’t allow bitterness to poison your moments. You guard your heart and your time because they belong to God. Remember, this is God’s time given to you for you to live glorifying and honoring Him. Every moment you protect from negativity and drama is a moment you can invest in love, service, and joy. Be wise about where you spend your life.
Bible Verse
‘Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.’ – Colossians 4:5
