Devotional

The most crucial element in discovering your identity in Christ happens in the quiet, intimate moments with Him. You’ll never fully become who you’re meant to be apart from these personal encounters with Jesus. This is where transformation happens – not through programs or activities, but through relationship. The more time you spend with Jesus, the more you become like Him. You begin to sound like Him, love like Him, and respond like Him. This isn’t about religious duty or checking boxes – it’s about falling in love with the One who gave you your new name and learning to see yourself through His eyes. It will take you the rest of your life to fully discover who you are in Jesus Christ. This isn’t a destination you arrive at, but a journey you embrace. Every day brings new opportunities to understand more deeply how much He loves you and what He’s called you to become. Don’t get excited about the great things you might do for God – though He may use you in wonderful ways. Instead, be excited because you have a new name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Your greatest miracle isn’t your accomplishments, but your identity as His beloved child. He knows your name. Not just the name on your birth certificate, but the name He’s written on your heart – the name that captures who you really are in Him.

Bible Verse

‘He has been given a name that is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father.’ – Philippians 2:9-11
