Devotional
Jesus was the most approachable person who ever lived. People who were broken, overlooked, and written off by everyone else ran toward Him. And yet He never once compromised who He was to make someone feel comfortable. That is a rare combination. Most of us lean one way or the other. We are either so focused on truth that we come across as harsh and unapproachable, or we are so focused on being liked that we soften everything until there is no real substance left. Jesus held both together perfectly. John 1:14 says He was full of grace and truth. Not grace or truth. Both, at the same time, in full measure. Here is why this matters for your everyday life: you may be the only picture of Jesus that someone in your world ever sees. They may never walk into a church. They may never open a Bible. But they will watch how you treat people. They will notice whether you are kind, whether you are real, whether you are someone they can actually talk to. You do not have to be perfect to reflect Jesus. You just have to be present and genuine. Let people see grace in how you treat them and truth in how you live.

Think about the people in your life who do not go to church. What would they say about Jesus based on what they see in you?
