Devotional
Before you were born, God had already written every one of your days. Psalm 139:16 makes that clear. He is not surprised by where you are right now. He is not caught off guard by your struggles, your detours, or your doubts. He has already seen it all, and He has already gone ahead of you. That means there is nothing you are facing today that He has not already overcome. There is no battle too big, no situation too complicated, no past too messy. He has already won the victory, and He is inviting you to walk in it. His job is not to hand you a battle plan and send you off alone. And your job is not to white-knuckle your way through life hoping things work out. He simply asks you to stay on the path and stay positioned before Him. He will handle what you cannot. This is the most encouraging truth to carry into your week: you do not have to find God. He already knows where you are, and He is walking toward you. Just like He walked toward Zacchaeus. Just like He has walked toward every imperfect, searching, stumbling person who ever lived. Stay in His Word. Stay in community. Stay on the path. He will meet you there.
Bible Verse
“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” – Psalm 139:16
Reflection Question
What would change about how you face this week if you truly believed that God has already seen every moment of it and is already walking toward you?
Quote
“There is no place on the map that you can walk where he cannot find you. There is no place that you can go. There’s nothing you can do that could ever distort his love for you.”
Prayer
Lord, thank You for knowing exactly where I am and for walking toward me anyway. Help me to trust that You have already gone before me, and give me the faith to stay on the path. Amen.
