Devotional

Here is what you need to walk away knowing. The cross still stands. The tomb is still empty. And nothing that is happening around you changes either of those facts. He has engraved your name in the palm of His hand. He cannot forget you. He will not leave you. He will not forsake you. Greater is He that is in you than anything that is in this world, no matter how loud the news gets, no matter how uncertain things feel. This week, you have been reminded that the enemy lies, that faith outlasts feelings, that God meets you in your specific moment of need, and that your voice carries real authority. Now it is time to put it all together and simply stand. Standing is not passive. It is a declaration. It says, I know who I belong to. I know what He has done. I know what He has promised. And I am not moving. Worship Him today on the basis of what He has revealed to you, not on the basis of how your circumstances look. Abide in Him. Let His Word abide in you. And then ask boldly, speak confidently, and trust completely. You are not alone in this. You never were.

Bible Verse

“I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and He gave ear unto me.” – Psalm 77:1

Reflection Question

Looking back at this week, what is one truth about God that you are choosing to stand on, even if your circumstances have not changed yet?

Quote

“The cross still stands, and the tomb is still empty. If you miss everything, that’s all you need to know when you walk out the door [each] morning.”

Prayer

Father, thank You that the cross still stands and the tomb is still empty. Help me to stand firm in that truth today and every day, no matter what surrounds me. Amen.
