Devotional
Gifts are temporary. Paul is clear about this. Prophecy will cease. Tongues will be stilled. Knowledge will pass away. Everything we build our identity around in this life will eventually come to an end. But love never fails. That phrase is worth sitting with. In a world where so much disappoints and so much fades, love is the one thing that holds. It does not run out. It does not expire. It does not lose its power over time. Think about the people who have marked your life most deeply. Chances are, it was not the most talented person in the room. It was the person who showed up. The one who remembered. The one who stayed when it would have been easier to leave. Their love left a mark that no gift ever could. You have that same capacity. You do not need a special anointing to love someone well. You need a willing heart and the courage to act on it. The people around you are not primarily looking for someone impressive. They are looking for someone real, someone who will love them consistently and without condition. That is something you can offer today.
