Suddenly he heard what (Martin) Luther realized, that there is nothing for us to do other than accept what Jesus Christ has done on our behalf. There’s nothing today that I have to do. His work is already finished. It’s already settled. There’s nothing left for heaven to give. Heaven has given us its very, very best. Today, let’s focus on accepting the finished work of Christ and allowing it to fill our hearts with true joy and peace.
