Devotional
True transformation comes through personal encounters with God’s glory. While learning about God from others is valuable, nothing compares to experiencing His presence firsthand. These encounters may not always be comfortable – they often challenge our assumptions and reveal areas that need change. Yet it’s in these moments of holy discomfort that we discover who we truly are and who God created us to be. When we minimize God’s glory, we inadvertently limit our own potential for growth and transformation.
Bible Verse
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.” – Isaiah 6:1
Reflection Question
When was the last time you experienced a personal encounter with God that left you changed? How did it affect your relationship with Him?
Quote: “When you’re truly in the presence of God, there is a holy discomfort that is there. And you’ve got to learn to embrace the tension.”
Prayer
Holy God, I desire to experience Your glory firsthand. Help me embrace even the uncomfortable moments of transformation. Draw me closer to You and shape me through Your presence. Amen.
