Life takes on new meaning when we realize it’s not all about us. Jesus invites us into a story much bigger than our personal comfort or success – He invites us into God’s kingdom work. When we align our lives with His purposes, we discover a depth of fulfillment that self-focus could never provide. This might mean sacrificing personal preferences for the sake of unity, choosing to serve when we’d rather be served, or stepping out in faith when we’d prefer to stay comfortable. The reward is worth it: we find our true purpose in being part of God’s greater story.
