Devotional

There is a moment in every hard season where you have to decide whether you are going to talk about your problem or talk to it. Because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross, believers have been raised up and seated with Him in heavenly places. That is not just a poetic idea. It has real, practical implications. What is under His feet is also under yours. You carry authority that the enemy does not want you to know about. Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Your words carry weight. There are mountains in your life, situations that feel immovable, that are waiting for you to open your mouth and speak to them with the authority you have been given. This is not about positive thinking or working yourself into an emotional state. It is about aligning your voice with what God has already declared. When you speak His Word over your life, your family, and your circumstances, you are not just hoping something changes. You are releasing the authority that was purchased for you at the cross. Power is released when authority is taken. Do not stay silent. Speak up.

Bible Verse

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” – Proverbs 18:21

Reflection Question

What mountain in your life have you been talking about to others but have never actually spoken to directly in faith?

Quote

“There are some things that are never going to move till you speak to it. Not going to happen. Because here’s what I know. My mountain knows my voice, and your mountain knows your voice.” -Dr. Tom Madden

Prayer

Lord, help me to use my voice with purpose and faith. Teach me to speak Your Word over my life and trust that You back it up. Amen.
