Devotional

We live in a world that is constantly searching for the next big change. Political movements rise and fall. Leaders promise transformation and often fall short. Yet deep down, most of us sense that the real problem goes far deeper than any policy or platform can reach. Jesus stepped into a world just like ours. People were desperate for change, hungry for a leader who would finally fix things. But He did not come to start a movement built on political power. He came to do something far more radical. He came to transform the human heart. His revolution did not begin in a palace or a parliament. It began in the hearts of ordinary people who were willing to follow Him. And it is still happening today, one life at a time. You may feel the weight of a broken world around you. You may wonder if anything can truly change. Take heart. The same Jesus who walked into a politically charged crowd and offered them something better than a revolution is walking with you right now. He is not finished. His work is still moving forward, and you are part of it. The greatest change this world has ever seen did not come from a government. It came from a Savior. And that same Savior is inviting you into His story today.

Bible Verse

“And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach.” – Mark 6:7 (referenced in the context of Mark 6:30-44, the sending and return of the Twelve)

Reflection Question

Where are you currently placing your hope for real, lasting change, and how might Jesus be inviting you to redirect that hope toward Him?

Quote

“Jesus Christ is the greatest revolutionary the world has ever known because He came into a world that was bound in sin and a world that was destined to die. And he said, we are not going to continue in the status quo. There’s going to be a change in the status of men.”

Prayer

Lord, remind me today that You are the only true source of lasting change. Help me to trust in Your revolution rather than the solutions of this world. Amen.
